Pokémon Online v2.0.05 - Auto updater included!

The new version was released.

It contains many bugfixes that come from a recent v2, plus some neat features. It has now an autoupdater included, which means that Windows/Linux users will have their PO automatically updated! (seems to be a bit harder for mac). It will really make keeping up with latest PO improvements a whole lot easier!

Here are the full detailed changes :

2.0.05

All:
- Rotom formes abilities now load in Pt/HGSS

Client:
- Auto-Updater: PO now displays updates in the menu if any, and if the use chooses to update will update on next restart
- Gen combobox in Ctrl+L now allows you to change the gen of the teams
- More functions for client scripts
- Fixed slight problems regarding to mods (Forme sprites, new moves for old gens)
- HP % next to the life bar in new battle window
- Old school move buttons forced with new battle window
- Level & Gender data added in tooltip for new battle window
- Protect/Detect animations added for new battle window
- No more freezing with speed boost in new battle window
- Fixed crash related to the usage of tabs
- Level 4+ messages don't use html by default anymore

Server:
- Fix problems with male dw events (like Giga Drain Venusaur)
- Imposter now copies Arceus/Giratina formes regardless of items in gen 5
- More offensive movesets in Challenge Cup
- Fixed RBY Dig and RBY wrap
- Magic mirror doesn't prevent you from moving anymore

2.0.02a

- Fix deleting profiles with spaces or dots
- Fix RBY stuff
- Fix Spiky pichu in early gens
- Fix Giratina-O not showing as Original
- Fix pokémon generation in CC for old gens
- Tab PMs now stay on top (on windows)

Apart from the auto updater, the load window was improved and Challenge Cup/Male DW events were fixed on the servers. There are also other bugfixes!

If someone makes a .deb and .rpms that wouldn't be needed, however, PO is not quite ready for that kind of packaging.

I downloaded the new version. I am having trouble finding all my teams. Help please?

Assuming you didn't write over your previous PO 1.0.60 folder(or whatever version you've been using), your teams folder should still be there, with all your teams. Just click the little icon that's a folder with an arrow on it to load them up.

I did write over it. That's how I've ALWAYS updated Pokemon Online as there is no point of keeping the old version. Please do not tell me that means all my teams are gone...

Do a search for the title of one of the teams you know in windows explorer. I could not find my teams folder for a few minutes, turned out I had it set to somewhere odd.

Minor thing to note is that on Ubuntu, the color for me hasn't saved whenever I started the client since 2.0, while it did save on 1.60.

Try to save your profile, by hitting save after changing colours in the teambuilder.

EXcuse me , but what happened to the pokdex where you could see all pokes evolutions and also their type weaknesses and resistances, A and also the charts with moves strong against what moves. Could you put that back also?

This will be added in a future update, iirc.

The only thing I know is that the older version works, but there's been a lot of fixes since then so it's a waste to use it.

I could find out more about your problem, but it'd require me to direct you into building PO from source and debugging, and it's quite tedious honestly (but PM me on the server if you're still up for it)

I've been having a problem after i downloaded the newest version. Whenever I start a battle, or if I try to watch one, the "arena" of the battle window is displayed entirely as a white square. This is quite annoying as i can't see the remaining HP of any active pokémon. I have noticed that some other people are having the same problem. Screenshot. Please help.

You have XP. Hope it's not because of that. Can anyone else on XP see the new battlefield? For workaround, select Old battle window from battle options.
