If this is still going on, and it wasn't suggested before, I propose a 1 Pokemon vs 1 Pokemon tournament. Only rule is, you can't change your Pokemon each round (in case somebody tells you what you're opponent is using, to prevent counter teaming.)
1v1 tournaments go on on the server. We're not going to host a full forum tournament for the purpose of preventing team switching. So no. Mono-egg sounds interesting, and the one where the tiers change each round has been suggested before, and will be done at some point. That's all for now.

Has a tour where each round has a specific pokemon on each team been requested? It would be fun playing teams that HAVE to have something like Bibarel or some such.
Well Galblade, the rest of the team can compensate for 1 specific pokémon, so I think that would just be OU, but with an extra poké...
I'm not sure if this has been suggested yet, but what about a tourney where one person builds a team for the other to use? So the point would be to build the worst team, since your opponent would be using it.
Hi i'm new here but had an interesting idea. I noticed that most pokemon faint in 1 move and i dpn't know if this was suggested but how about a "Mind over Power'' All pokemon bust use moves with power 60 and under. Pokemon with Technichian and Skill link connot compete. How about it?
I don't know if it can be done as a tournament right now, since there's no real tier list for Gen5 atm, but I'll leave my first idea here: Mixed Tier Tournament, 5th Gen Description/Rule: Have... 1 NU 1 UU 1 BL 2 OU 1 Uber ... -Pokemon in your Team. As explained this would be hard to do right now without complaining over the Pokes and Tiers. Second idea for a tournament: Have... 1 LC Pokemon 1 Pokemon that can't evolve 1 Pokemon on it's last evolution stage 1 Legendary from the trios (Zapdos/Articuno/Moltres, Raikou/Entei/Suicune, ...) 1 Uber Legendary 1 Eeveelution (to fill the last spot, or you can think of anything else here.)
Archerknight: Well, there'd be restrictions and guidelines, of course. (e.g. Pokes must be full evolution (with the exception of recognizable lower evolutions with Evo Stone (i.e. Chansey, Gligar, Pory2, etc.)), must have 4 moves, etc.)
well now that triple battle is up we dont get much of its tourney so how about bringing that into action ?
something like a teamtour :D players go to team of 3 and everyone play in his own tier 1.player -->Ou 2.player -->UU 3.player -->NU so the OU player of one team fight against the ou player of the other team :D i dont know if there was this "idea" before but i like teamtourneys :D

We could do a Risk-styled board game where people are the pieces. For example we could use Serebii's Pokeearth map and have each team be from each nation (Kanto Hoenn etc). We could basically copy risk but instead or rolling dice have people Pokemon battle.
Gen 5 with ............ but your only allowed to use gen 1 and gen 2 pokes :3 680 base stat total (ubers) not allowed
An all legend tournament but you can't use legends like Darkrai...... What other legends are banned from this all legend tournament?
Was given the idea from one of Xavier's randomshit quiz assignments, but sort of messed with it... a tournament where the Pokés in your team have to add up to "x" letters in their names. For example, if you receive a limit of 40 letters, then you can't have Roopushin, Shanderaa, Nattorei, Burungeru, Doryuuzu, and Tyranitar because that's 12 letters too many. I think it'd be interesting to see how people create competitive teams with these limits. Maybe each round could have a different limit of letters. Or just ignore it if it's a bad suggestion. :3
First, just wanted to say I really like that one. As for an idea, how about: Roulette Battle At the beginning of the match, all Pokemon are randomly shuffled and reassigned to the players, thus each team will have between 0 and all 6 of it's initial members. This is based on the Roulette Colosseum in Pokemon Revolution, but it would definitely be fun here as well.
A tour where pokemon can only use level-up moves. Absolutely nothing else. No surf Starmie for example. Only water gun. X3
That might be fun. XD We'd obviously need to check the logs and see what moves pokémon can get from levelling up in all gens, it could be complicated. I think a great tourney is the CC Triples! (I've mentioned it) Maybe, a LC triples... That might be fun.
I had this idea for a while. A draft and play tournament. Where people start with a pool of every legal Pokemon, and pick 7, 6 Pokemon and a Sub. They then have to make a team out of the 7 and then use it in the tournament. I'd be willing to host this if anyone is interested.
I know it is a little past christmas, but we could do a secret santa tournament. Everyone makes a team and the teams are randomly assigned to the other players. You are out of the tournament when you are physically knocked out and when the person using your team is knocked out. You could do it with any tier but I think 4th gen OU or 5th gen wifi would be the best. Obviously with you winning by having your team win and not just by yourself winning it would motivate people to give good teams. I hope this hasn't been suggested and turned down before as this kind of tourney sounds like it would be fun. I would be willing to host if we made that tourney.
We should have a STREETPKMN tournament. All Clauses off (except for Wifi, which shouldn't really be claused at all).
The problem with a street pokemon tournament is that everyone would end up using typical Uber teams and it would be just like a Uber tournament without clauses. I guess the only thing that would really change is people being allowed to have more than one of a pokemon on their team as hardly anyone would use OHKO or evasion.
