    Great job to everyone for getting Week 1 done! We still have two more weeks for the Qualifying Stage so if you didn't do well in Week 1, then don't worry, have faith, there's plenty of chances to get into the Top 8.

    You MUST be aware of the tournament structure: http://pokemon-online.eu/forums/showthread.php?12598

    Week 2

    *Captains of each region must get in contact with the opposing captain and schedule the best time for both teams to battle!

    Saturday
    Northeast vs North Central = 7 PM GMT -5:00 = 7 PM EST
    Southeast vs South Central = 9 PM GMT -5:00 = 9 PM EST
    West vs Latin America = 7:30 PM GMT -3:00 = 5:30 PM EST
    Canada vs European Union = 8 PM GMT 0:00 = 3 PM EST
    United Kingdom vs Benelux = 7 PM GMT 0:00 = 2 PM EST
    Spain vs Italy = 4:45 PM GMT +1:00 = 10:45 AM EST
    Germany vs USSR = 7:00 PM GMT 0:00 = 2 PM EST
    ISGME vs Oceania =
    Indonesia vs SEA = 8 PM GMT +8:00 = 7 AM EST

    Sunday
    Northeast vs North Central = 7 PM GMT -5:00 = 7 PM EST
    Southeast vs South Central = 9 PM GMT -5:00 = 9 PM EST
    West vs Latin America = 8 PM GMT -3:00 = 6 PM EST
    Canada vs European Union = 8 PM GMT 0:00 = 3 PM EST
    United Kingdom vs Benelux =
    Spain vs Italy = 4:45 PM GMT +1:00 = 10:45 AM EST
    Germany vs USSR = 7:00 PM GMT 0:00 = 2 PM EST
    ISGME vs Oceania =
    Indonesia vs SEA = 5 PM GMT +8:00 = 4 AM EST

    ---------------

    Battling Rules
    - All battles will be played under standard clauses: Sleep Clause and Species Clause.
    - There will be no Freeze Clause and Self KO Clause unless by the consent of both players.
    - Wifi Battle MUST be on
    - NO Item Clause.
    - Timer MUST be on.
    - You MUST allow Spectators.
    - Battle Log MUST be Saved.
    - Make sure you have IGNORE SPECTATORS on while battling. Not ignoring spectators may lag you and can result in you disconnecting. This reduce the chances of a likely disconnect. We are NOT responsible for your disconnection, slow internet speed, or computer error.

    - Absolutely no ghosting. Assisting your teammate in helping him/her make moves is prohibited! Suspicion of ghosting can lead to the immediate disqualification of the team during battle and the possibility of team's eligibility onto the next round.
    - The captain will be held responsible for any rule breaking caused by the team. This inevitably harms the whole team.

    - The team battle will consist of 5 battles pertaining to each of the five tiers. All 5 battles must be completed.
    - If the captain is unable to substitute a missing player in a 5 min time span, then that team will receive a disqualification in the following tier.
    - It is within the consent of both captains to decide which tiers they wish to play first. If no consent is formed, then the order will be as follows: Wifi Ubers, Wifi OU, Wifi UU, Wifi LU, Wifi NU.
    - All battles will be single elimination.
    - Captains are allowed to change up lineup from Saturday to Sunday at any time.
    - No formal written recognition of team lineup is necessary. Captains are responsible for making all calls for the team as well as being prepared to make instant substitutes.
    - If for any reason the captain is missing, then the co-captain will temporarily serve the role of the captain.
    - If both captain and co-captain are missing, then one of the players of the team must take charge or the team will receive a disqualification.

    --------

    Time zones:
    Northeast = GMT -5:00
    Southeast = GMT -5:00
    North Central = GMT -5:00 ~ GMT -6:00
    South Central = GMT -5:00 ~ GMT -6:00
    West = GMT -7:00 ~ GMT -8:00 ~ GMT -10:00
    Canada = GMT -5:00 ~ GMT -8:00
    Latin America = GMT -3:00 ~ GMT -6:00
    United Kingdom = GMT 0:00
    Italy = GMT +1:00
    Germany = GMT +1:00
    Spain = GMT +1:00
    Benelux = GMT +1:00
    European Union = GMT +1:00 ~ GMT +2:00
    USSR = GMT +2:00 ~ GMT +11:00
    ISGME = GMT +2:00 ~ GMT +6:00 ~ GMT +8:00
    SEA = GMT +7:00 ~ GMT +8:00
    Indonesia = GMT +7:00
    Oceania = GMT +10:00 ~ GMT +12:00

    --------------------
    Captains must have a team lineup ready for each tier with at least 2 substitutes for each tier. Here’s an example:
    Players (9): John, Bob, Carl, Matt, Joe, Will, Steve, Ryan, Andrew

    Wifi Ubers: John, Bob, Carl -- John will be your Wifi Uber player, with Bob and Carl as substitutes
    Wifi OU: Matt, John, Joe -- Matt will be your Wifi OU player. If Matt is not on, then John will take over. But if John already played for Wifi Ubers, he can't play again, so you will have to substitute in Joe instead.
    Wifi UU: Will, Steve, Bob -- Will will be your Wifi UU player. If Will is not on, then Steven will take over. If Steve is not on, then Bob will take. If Bob already substituted for John in Wifi Ubers and played, then Bob will not be able to play either. In this case, you will need to find an immediate substitute or your team will be given a loss in this tier.
    Wifi LU: Ryan, Andrew, John -- Ryan will be your Wifi LU player. If Ryan is not on, then Andrew will take over. If Andrew is not on, then John will take over. If John already played for Wifi Ubers, then he will not be able to play. In this case, you will need to find an immediate substitute or your team will be given a loss in this tier.
    Wifi NU: Carl, Steve, Andrew -- Carl will be your Wifi NU player. If Carl already played for Wifi Ubers, then Steve will take over. If Steve already played for Wifi UU, then Andrew will take over. If Andrew already played for Wifi LU, then you will need to find an immediate substitute or your team will be given a loss in this tier.

    United Kingdom vs Canada =

    ''why do you keep getting paired with americans? Isn't Eternal aware of where UK is? Just wondering ~ Luck''

    Eternal just in case you didn't know, the UK is in Europe not america. I understand that we are the western-most European country (only by 1 hour) but that should not mean all our matches should be against Opposition that are in the America's. Making us play at against countries like this not only is bad for us but bad for our opponent because the time scheduled has to be late for us and early for them which means (not like you care) we have less of a player-base and support for this tourney which is unfair.

    ''I swear we are cursed, the bs continues ;_;''

    I don't want to bring up the whole CZ disconnect saga again but it seems as if everyone is against us ;_;.

    Of course I wont just complain about something without providing a solution, so this is my proposal. Instead of making the UK play against all american teams to qualify, why don't we rotate a European team each week to play against one of the american teams. FOR EXAMPLE: this week another team that has a reasonable GMT difference (Teams with GMT +1 spring to mind - there is only a 1 hour difference so it doesn't create any more inconvenience than if we play against an american team. So, this week Spain/Italy/Germany/Benelux will play against Canada and the UK will fill the place left by one of these countries. In the next week, a different team from the GMT +1 group should play against the American opposition that week.

    What I have proposed is very reasonable and there is enough time to organise this as there is at least 4 days to prepare. I hope that you will at least take this into consideration.

    Thank you for your time

    Okay, I understand and I like your idea. I've rotated, EU vs Canada and UK vs Benelux.

    EU v Canada is presently scheduled for 8 PM GMT. Not a particularly clean match up in terms of time zones but we'll make do.

    Nice Turn 29, was directing 70% of the match and lost to one miss, amazing skills here!
    It would be an acceptable 3-2 score at least.

    Confirming, here are 3/5 logs (including Blimlax's) we have in SC's perspective:
    Blimlax vs nimp
    AustinXhensL vs SPS
    Kyrk vs Croak

    My jimmies are rustled from the hax in the first 2 matches, but the rest of the matches were epic enough to balance it out.

    Also Croak and I agreed to make our match times 1 hour earlier, so 8:00PM EST (GMT -5:00)
