    ==General==
    *Has useful stats the only one disappointing is HP.
    *Has access to levitate giving it only 2 weaknesses, water and rock but rotom-h has coverage for.
    *Rotom-H also has a weakness to Stealth Rock forcing it to have rapid spin support.
    *Might be outclassed by Victini and Darmanitan in some cases having lower speed then them.
    *Has 7 resistances helping it be a good check for many pokemon.
    *Overall a pokemon that is worth considering for a team slot.

    ==Choiced==
    Rotom-H @ Choice Scarf/Choice Specs
    Trait: Levitate
    EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Volt Switch/Thunderbolt
    - Overheat
    - Hidden Power [Grass]
    - Trick/Thunderbolt

    *Choice Scarf/Specs gives rotom-h the boost of speed and power respectively to function greatly.
    *Volt Switch is the main move to be use when you need a scouter, thunderbolt is optional if you want more power but you also lose out on scouting usually the main thing rotom-h does.
    *Overheat is a great way to put holes into worn down teams take note that you also lose the power the next turn.
    *Hidden Power Grass should be there to nail rhyperior a big threat to rotom-h. It can also be used to deal super effective damage to Claydol.
    *Trick is in the last slot to cripple stealth rock leads and defensive pokemon, Thunderbolt can be used over trick to make a more reliable chance to KO blastoise,slowbro,suicune and milotic but trick also cripples those pokemon.
    *evs are straight forward invest in full special attack and speed, 4 SDef or 4 Def to fill the extra 4 evs.

    ==Pain Split==
    Rotom-H @ Leftovers
    Trait: Levitate
    EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Thunderbolt/Volt Switch
    - Overheat
    - Will-O-Wisp/Hidden Power [Grass]
    - Pain Split

    *This set allows rotom-h to freely switch between attacks to help it gain more momentum.
    *Thunderbolt is the reliable STAB, Volt Switch being an option though oveheat is needed and will be the only reliable attack making thunderbolt superior.
    *Will-O-Wisp can cripple many physical attackers mainly rhyperior and snorlax.
    *Pain Split is the main move allowing rotom-h to take advantage of it's stealth rock weakness.
    *Given evs are just like the set before, full invested SAtk and Spd, the 4 evs can be invested to 4 SDef or Def.

    ==Other Options==
    *Rotom-H can make use of toxic to cripple it's threats, though will-o-wisp's attack drop is very useful to deal with rhyperior,swampert and flygon.
    *Discharge can be used over Thunderbolt and Volt Switch but again will-o-wisp is more useful again because of the attack drop though rotom can make use of double status.
    *Electro Ball can be utilized with thunder wave to make it 4x stronger.
    *Shadow Ball can be used but rotom-h loses his STAB from gen 4 so it's not really useful, it also doesn't hit anything that rotom-h's main moves can't hit
    *White herb is usable sometimes for overheat but the one time use isn't so helpful.
    *Substitute can be used on the pain split set for a sub pain split but rotom-h won't be liking the overheat drop in substitute.
    *A defensive set can be run but rotom-h's Stealth Rock weakness it's not easy to switch in.
    *Dual Screens can be used as rotom-h has volt switch but xatu is probably a better dual screener.
    *A restalk set possibly with status can be used but it is quite hard to pull of because of rotom-h's stealth rock weakness.

    ==Checks & Counters==
    *Stealth Rock is rotom-h's nightmare because overheat forces switches most of the times.
    *Like said in the start rotom-h has 2 weaknesses both it has coverage to and 7 resistances making it very hard to check however, Rhyperior makes short work out of rotom-h only being crippled by trick and although hidden power grass is 4x super effective to rhyperior it can still take the damage thanks to Solid Rock.
    *Flygon is just like rhyperior resisting both rotom-h's STABS and also doesn't mind being tricked not including the Choice Specs variant but flygon can also hit it hard with outrage.
    *Swampert is sort of a check also resisting rotom-h's STABS but is hurt badly by HP Grass but it's hard to predict around it on the choiced variant of rotom-h.
    *Snorlax although doesn't look like a check can resist overheat thanks to Thick Fat and thunderbolt and volt switch won't be doing much either although it hates being tricked a Choice Scarf/Choice Specs and is a choice band snorlax is crippled by will-o-wisp too.
    *Support Clefable is a big threat to rotom-h taking all it's moves easily.
    *Druddigon resists all of rotom-h's moves and can hit back with strong outrage

    ==Synergy==
    *Virizion is a great partner for rotom-h being able to drive away rhyperior and swampert with leaf blade while hitting snorlax with a strong close combat. Flygon won't be wanting to stay in on virizion either.
    *Shaymin is a pretty good check resisting water and giving nightmares to rhyperior and swampert while doing great damage to flygon but can't take care with snorlax
    *Blastoise is also a great partner being able to resist water and drive away ground and rock types, it also has Rapid Spin which is great for rotom-h.
    *Hitmontop is also a decent partner resisting rock and spinning Stealth Rock away with Rapid Spin.

    Mention Sub on the Pain Split set or OO.

    Also, all of the extra 4 EVs should be put in SpDef, since UU has a couple download users.

    I'd mention that a Defensive set can be run, but with the SR weakness and all, its not easy to pull off right now.

    In OO, mention White Herb for Overheat. Dual Screens is also usable. Electro Ball can be a gimmicky but effective move on a Scarf set due to Speed differences :/. And maybe a Defensive RestTalk set utilizing status could work...?

    In C&C, give Rotom-H's Stealth Rock weakness a mention, as Overheat = switching and Switching = Stealth Rock damage. If you're willing to look in the lower tiers, Lanturn is an excellent check, though it doesn't need to be added as it's rarely used in UU.

    I'd actually say Thunder Wave + Electro Ball was more effective than Scarf Electro Ball tbh. Rotom isn't amazingly fast, and even with a Choice Scarf it's not gonna do much. Paralysis on the other hand instantly quadruples Electro Ball's power. Hell, you can even combine it with Hex for a gimmicky yet powerful coverage option. xD

    In C&C: Clefable and Druddigon deserve a mention, support Clefable was used to be part of the Wifi UU and (still) able to annoy the common special offensive Pokemon, Druddigon is another Pokemon that has started to shine in this tier, both offensive and rest talker sets can deal with Rotom-H (unless Trick or HP Ice for those who already hate Flygon).
