Would be funny if Man U got relegated.
Too bad the odds are close to none.
Ramsey wins the Player of the month award. <3
This international break has been interesting to be fair.
In my opinion, the probable winner for the World Cup is Belgium. I mean ,look at that talent. Hazard,Lukaku,Kompany,Fellaini,De Bruyne,Courtois,Benteke. WOW. And the list is endless. Brazil ,ofc, are also very strong. But I wont be surprised if Belgium wins the World Cup
I think Germany are also gonna be a strong team to face. Filled with youth as well experienced players.
Belgium are good but not THAT good. Sorry but they will not win the 2014 world cup. It is Spain or Brazil who will win it, in my opinion. Although I would want Germany to win it, for a change. :) This weekends results have been nice. Chelsea won against Cardiff 4-1. Arsenal sadly won. That goal from Wilshere though, that was amazing. United continue their bad form by drawing to Southampton at Old Trafford.
that's all folks
Spain will bounce back after Confederations cup.
Of course they're great, I was just playing around with the late results. In a way I feel that they're really going down the lower road by now. They've had their glorious time.
I would, instead, be placing bets over Germany, Brazil, Argentina, and Italy (Italians are never the stars in a Cup but I rarely see better teamwork than theirs and they always end up amongst the greatest, not to mention their 4 victories along history).
In the European playoff we have an interesting Portugal vs Sweeden. It's a shame that only one can pass such great teams with fantastic players...
Portugal also qualified to Euro 2012 and WC 2010 through Playoff's so we are quite confident. It's going to be 2 great games for sure.
PS: A word to Bosnia Herzegovina which already deserved to play an international competition and to the brilliant Iceland (let's see if they can pass Croatia).
Seeing Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic play today makes it even harder knowing only one will grace the big stage. So which of the two do you guys actually prefer seeing in the WC?
I approve Vuvu's post
How far do you think the teams from Asia will do? South Korea and Japan both have underrated squads, imo. Can't say much about Iran, I haven't seen em play much.
SK's squad is alright, nothing to write home about, they got some skill but i'm not sure it'll be enough
japan - as a japanese american i will be rooting for them but i'm not sure what to expect - they put in some great performances in the confed cup but couldn't manage to actually get a win. my issue is that there is no true world class striker. their attack is pretty woeful considering all the creativity in midfield they have. okazaki is really all they got but i don't rate him on the international stage. if they had a true striker i would def. say they can contend, but i don't think they can get far on the backs of honda and kagawa
ARSENAL ARSENAL ARSENAL
stoked for the dortmund game
ow. Newcastle totally pwnd Chelsea. Brilliant performance by them in the 2nd half especially. Totally suppressed Chelsea. Arsenal defeating Liverpool 2-0 was kind of a shocker. I was expecting a draw . But I think the Match of the week was Stoke City vs Southampton. Oh god. That goal by Begovic` was unbelievable
fucking arsenal ruining what could of been a perfect day
So Atletico, Bayern and Barca have qualified for the next round in CL. Man City too, for the first time, have qualified. Pretty interesting to see how Atletico has fared in both La Liga and CL. Only one loss. This is pretty impressive. This season has been the season for the Underdgos. Roma, Southampton, Everton, Atletico etc have been superb. What do you guys think about this?
Portugal one step closer to World Cup 2014. Good win for Greece and fantastic win for Ukraine.
France has so many great players and yet they may not even make the World Cup. Oh dear.....
Anyone who watched England today will understand why there is 0 confidence in us making a spectacular showing at the 2014 world cup, average at best. We were outclassed, outplayed and embarrassing. With Germany on Tuesday, if we play the same way we did tonight, we will get slaughtered.
I'm kinda glad I didn't get tickets to see that game.
Sweden did play well against the Star-studded Portugal. I think, They have the capability of pouncing back at Portugal.
Belgians are down to earth again after losing 0-2 to Columbia. We weren't necessarily worse than them, but they were more efficient and took advantage of two defensive errors. The lack of playing time for some of our important players (Alderweireld at Atletico, De Bruyne at Chelsea, Dembele/Chadli at Tottenham) combined with the trouble we have in front of the goal (Benteke is in a bit of a dip after his injury) are reasons for concern.
Belgium will be strong in Brazil though, and teams will definitely have to watch out for Columbia.
So close, but yet so Ronaldo.
Cristiano was mediocre tonight. He usually doesn't miss so many oportunities.
Match of the Week:Southampton vs Arsenal. Who's gonna win?
you know who will win
edit: arsenal 2, southampton 0
I predict that Southampton is going to win 2-1
Go Southampton! Ricky Lambert is going to score a brace .Arsenal are starting to show their true colours [losing]
-South Africa 1-0 Spain Yay 2013/11/19
LoL Funny Arsenal Goal ,Boruc is no Ronaldo
-South Africa 1-0 Spain Yay 2013/11/19
in the end Arsenal took it home with 2 crap goals>BG
Defining yourself through hate is no bueno. Promote your own team, no need to downplay others.
man i wish lambert scored a brace my fantasy team is awful (but remy scored yay)
no but really you can say the goals were awful, but watching the game arsenal were the better team start to finish. really, szczesny only had to make like 2 saves which were both right at them. boruc did make a horrible error, but it was then up to giroud to capitalize on that mistake - i thought the PK was a bit soft, it was a PK though. all in all i think it's a great result against a fantastic southampton side who i really feel can stick around this year
i don't know why everyone wants to downplay arsenal, i think we've really shown we are here for the long run, especially if you consider we've dominated most of the game we've played (credit to southampton, i was really surprised possession was about 50/50!)
in other news, that sunderland red card was never ever a red card, feel a bit bad for the refs, but i guess it's just a stronger calls for replays, as honestly it is getting a bit out of hand - poyet has every right to be upset
RiP Borussia Dortmund
isnt it what i predicted
