    Hey guys and girls!

    ==General==
    *Has average stats across the board apart from a high HP stat and a low Speed stat.
    *A unique typing in Grass / Poison means that it has resistances to common Water and Fighting attacks along with the ability to absorb Toxic Spikes (it's rare, but useful).
    *An amazing ability in Regenerator so it can switch out and heal 33% of it's health every time.
    *Has a nice movepool including Spore, Clear Smog and Synthesis.
    *Typing grants a weakness to very common Fire and Psychic type attacks.
    *Slow speed means it won't be outspeeding anything apart from Slowbro and Snorlax with low Speed investment.
    *Overall a fantastic Pokemon for both Stall and Hyper Offensive Teams.

    ==Physically Defensive==
    Amoonguss @ Black Sludge
    Trait: Regenerator
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
    - Spore
    - Giga Drain
    - Clear Smog / Sludge Bomb
    - Synthesis / Stun Spore / Hidden Power [Fire]

    *Takes advantage of Amoonguss' typing and defenses.
    *EVs make it as bulky as possible (4 Spd outspeeds Snorlax, Slowbro, Reuniclus and opposing Amoonguss with no Speed investment).
    *Black Sludge is used over Leftovers to take advantage of an opponent using Trick.
    *Spore puts a foe to sleep allowing a Pokemon to set-up and Amoonguss to heal 33% of its health.
    *Giga Drain is a decent attack which allows Amoonguss to recover more health in the process.
    *Clear Smog can put a stop to stat-boosters such as Raikou and Suicune, but Sludge Bomb is a stronger alternative for more power.
    *Synthesis is a safer way for Amoonguss to recover more health and has good synergy with Regernator, Stun Spore can cripple a fast attacker and is useful if a foe is already asleep, Hidden Power [Fire] can be used instead for surprise factor and counter Escaliver and Durant.

    ==Offensive==
    Amoonguss @ Life Orb
    Trait: Regnerator
    EVs: 120 HP / 128 Def / 252 SpA / 8 Spe
    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
    - Spore
    - Giga Drain
    - Sludge Bomb
    - Hidden Power [Fire] / Stun Spore

    *Amoonguss can go offensive thanks to having decent attacking stats.
    *EVs and natures are used to make Amoonguss as powerful as it can be. 8 Spd EVs outspeed other Base 30's that don't tend to run or run 4 Speed investment. 120 HP EVs allow Amoonguss to have a HP stat that works well with Life Orb and gives some bulk while the rest are dumped used and helps it to take attacks like Psyshock a little bit better.
    *Spore helps Amoonguss do some damage or allow an ally to set-up and sweep.
    *Giga Drain is a powerful attack that recovers off that Life Orb damage plus any bonus damage.
    *Sludge Bomb is used over Clear Smog for more power, nothing else to say.
    *Hidden Power [Fire] is used for coverage but Stun Spore can be used to cripple any fast Pokemon such as Scarf Mienshao, Victini, Heracross or Darmanitan!

    ==Other Options==
    *A Special Defensive Set can be used to take on the bulky Water-types and Special Attackers in the tier.
    *Venoshock can be used along with Toxic for bonus power in the offensive set over Spore and Sludge Bomb however it does require support and prediction.
    *Growth can be used over the final move on the offensive set to increase its attacking powers but Amoonguss is slow, switches out often and takes damage from Life Orb.
    *Grass Knot can be used to hit Suicune harder but Giga Drain is more reliable and recovers health.
    *Body Slam can be used over Stun Spore for damage and paralysis but it isn't as reliable.
    *Foul Play can be used over the final move on either set to take advantage of opponents high attack stats however it can be difficult to use thanks to Amoonguss' low Speed stat.
    *Rain Dance and Sunny Day can be used for weather as Amoonguss is bulky but other Pokemon are often better to do this as it doesn't waste a turn of weather.

    ==Checks and Counters==
    *Xatu counters either set because it can bounce back Spore / Stun Spore and deal super-effective damage with either Psychic or Heat Wave or set-up screens etc.
    *Darmanitan and Victini can deal heavy damage from both V-Create / Blue Flare and Flare Blitz but must be wary of a surprise Foul Play. Heracross with Megahorn after a few boosts can hurt too but isn't as much as of a threat.
    *Fire types can walk all-over Amoonguss and hit hard with a STAB Fire-type attack.
    *Flying types, Crobat, Honchkrow and Togekiss in particular, can proceed to do what they wish while walling Amoonguss.
    *Bisharp is a crucial counter as it is faster and has Substitute to block status and is immune to Clear Smog but must be cautious of Hidden Power [Fire].
    *Sleep Talk users and Taunt-users (e.g. Crobat) can either take advantage of Spore or stop Amoonguss from putting foes to sleep.
    *Trick can also annoy Amoonguss, however this allows it to abuse Regenerator more by coming in, doing one (1) move, then switching out.

    (Sorry for grammar if it sucks!)

    I'd mention that Trick doesn't cripple Amoonguss all that much, as it can just abuse Regenerator more actively should that happen. It'll just come in, fire off one attack, and switch out again, much like the argument for Choice Tangrowth having Sleep Powder.

    Also, a specially defensive set is definitely worth a mention imo, for taking on the numerous bulky waters in the tier, with Crocune being the best possible mention.
