    Overview

    - Powerful Stabs
    - Nice coverage.
    - Kinda frail thanks to an Ice/Dragon typing.
    - Average speed (with the 99 speed bases added to the metagame)
    - Doesn't contribute a lot of defensive synergy
    - Turboblaze breaks through a few Pokemon such as Lugia, Forretress which doesn't stand on sturdy anymore, Shedinja's ability gets disabled
    - Water resistance allows Kyurem-W to be a switch into Kyogre, then Dragon Pulse/Draco Meteor weakens Water Spout to the extent of living another one
    - In Sun, Water resistance becomes even more advantaged, and Kyurem-W becomes a completely safe switch into Kyogre

    Choice Specs
    [IMG]

    Kyurem-W @ Choice Specs
    Trait: Turboblaze
    EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Dragon Pulse
    - Ice Beam
    - Fusion Flare/ Focus Blast
    - Draco Meteor

    - Tremendous Draco Meteor power that takes at least 70% of none resisting Pokemon's health (bar the pink blobs)
    - OHKOs Groudon
    - Requires a lot of prediction for the choice of the move, as it will be stocked, however the reward is great
    - Ice Beam's type pierces through many other types without resistance, which can be the safest move, if a steel type is incoming on the switch, Fusion Flare can be violent , especially when using Kyurem-W in sun teams
    - 45.89% - 54.11% damage with 40.75% chance to 2HKO Ho-Oh (with 200 HP EVs), pretty sad after the Ice Beam nerf as it became less reliable
    - 85.51% - 100.48% damage with 2.56% chance to OHKO Lugia (max HP 60 S.def), thank you Turboblaze
    - Takes 1/4 HP while switching into the field with Stealth Rocks scattered
    - Dragon Pulse OHKOs Dragon weak types (such as Palkia)
    - Focus Blast can take on Arc-Rock and Ferrothorn in Rain, but it tends to miss.

    Choice Scarf
    [IMG]

    Kyurem-W @ Choice Scarf
    Trait: Turboblaze
    EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Dragon Pulse
    - Ice Beam
    - Fusion Flare/ Focus Blast
    - Draco Meteor

    - Revenge killer, can act as a lategame cleaner if needed.
    - Ice Beam has a nice neutral coverage with Fusion Flare and Dragon moves, and will be the primary move to use. Focus Blast can hit Arceus-Rock hard.
    - For a fast speed average, Kyurem-W comes right in the middle, many threats can outspeed it if scarfed, especially Xerneas, Palkia and Genesect
    - Modest would be a bad choice because Timid is already barely enough, and 170 S.Atk isn't fairly unreliable. Any other scarfer would outspeed Kyurem-W otherwise.
    - I recommend using U-turn users such as Scizor or Genesect or Volt-Switch users such as Zekrom in a team that carries Kyurem-W as a scarfed Pokemon because it's not the best switch-in...also slow switching moves are the best, since the solid Scizor (as it takes the hit instead of Kyurem-W)
    - again many issues with the switches because of the Stealth Rock weakness.

    Roost+3moves
    [IMG]

    Kyurem-White @ Life Orb/Leftovers
    Ability: Turboblaze
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
    Timid/Modest Nature
    - Ice Beam
    - Roost
    - Fusion Flare/ Focus Blast/ Toxic
    - Dragon Pulse/ Draco Meteor

    - Awesome coverage obviously and thanks to not being locked to 1 move only.
    - Turboblaze is very beneficial against Lugia and Sturdy-mons like Skarmory/Forry.
    - Breaks down many forms of Bulky Offense.
    - Enough Special Attack to OHKO/2HKO Almost everything (except neutral effectiveness moves against max HP Arceus)
    - Draco Meteor can leave it as setup bait, but provides a massive firepower.

    Good Partners

    - Groudon and Scizor for the sun boost and the safe switch in thanks to U-turn.
    - a Spinner/Defogger is recommended due to the big Stealth Rock damage. Arceus-Fairy in particular synergizes nicely with Kyurem-W
    - Smeargle's Sticky Web works wonders alongside Specs and Life Orb.
    - Mewtwo-X or anything that can deal with Arceus-Rock, Arceus-Fighting, and Arceus-Fairy

    Other Options

    - Toxic can be used on all sets as they cripple various Arc forms that would wall it, but at the expense of coverage.
    - A good smashpass recipient. White Herb or Lum berry should be used to either block status from prankster thunder waves or ignore the defense drops.
    - SubRoost set can be used to evade status, but harder to pull off since it will then lack a coverage.
    - Surprise Stone Edge for Ho-Ohs can work.

    Checks and Counters

    - Specially Defensive Ogre can take it on, but won't be doing much besides phazing or burning via Scald. Roost sets can make a standstill as it can recover off the damage from it however.
    - Genesect can outpace and either revenge with Iron Head or simply U-turn to deal massive damage while gaining momentum.
    - Ho-Oh now walls Kyurem-W, tanking a hit and enough potential to KO back. It will be hard-pressed to not be 2hkoed by Specs however.
    - Chansey (and Blissey)
    - Arceus Rock, Arceus Fighting, and Arceus Fairy. Arc-Rock can get damaged highly by Focus Blast.
    - Special Deffensive Dialga with Thunder Wave.
    - Xerneas can outpace and kill it with Moonblast if it is speed boosting nature. Otherwise it risks a lot of damage from Ice Beam.
    - Hazards hurt it badly on switches.

Would Tailwind+3 Attacking moves be a viable set to at least go into OO? It definitely patches up the speed stat, while still having the offensive firepower enough to break teams.
For partners, Mega Abomasnow is a really great offensive partner with Kyurem-W, as it lets Kyurem-W use Blizzard with effectively no drawbacks under hail conditions, which gives it the added power to destroy stuff without the use of Draco Meteor.

125/90/100 defenses aren't actually that frail, it's its poor defensive typing as well as a Stealth Rock weakness that really holds it back.

Modest Nature on Kyurem-W gives it the added power to really destroy stuff:
    252 SpA Choice Specs Turboblaze Kyurem-W Draco Meteor vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Kyogre: 291-343 (85 - 100.2%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO
    252+ SpA Choice Specs Turboblaze Kyurem-W Draco Meteor vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Kyogre: 319-376 (93.2 - 109.9%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO
    252 SpA Choice Specs Turboblaze Kyurem-W Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Arceus: 333-393 (87.4 - 103.1%) -- 25% chance to OHKO
    252+ SpA Choice Specs Turboblaze Kyurem-W Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Arceus: 366-432 (96 - 113.3%) -- 75% chance to OHKO
    252 SpA Choice Specs Turboblaze Kyurem-W Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 80 SpD Lugia: 350-414 (84.1 - 99.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
    252+ SpA Choice Specs Turboblaze Kyurem-W Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 80 SpD Lugia: 386-456 (92.7 - 109.6%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO
    252 SpA Choice Specs Turboblaze Kyurem-W Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mega Mewtwo Y: 331-391 (93.7 - 110.7%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO
    252+ SpA Choice Specs Turboblaze Kyurem-W Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mega Mewtwo Y: 364-430 (103.1 - 121.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

    C&C:
Specially Defensive Dialga gets nuked by Choice Specs DMeteor, so it isn't a really good counter.
    252+ SpA Choice Specs Turboblaze Kyurem-W Draco Meteor vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Dialga: 307-363 (75.9 - 89.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
    252 SpA Choice Specs Turboblaze Kyurem-W Draco Meteor vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Dialga: 280-331 (69.3 - 81.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Revenge-killing is arguably the best way of beating Kyurem-W, since base 95 speed doesn't do it any favours when there are many pokemon with moves that can KO or severely dent Kyurem-W. Furthermore, simply keeping Stealth Rock on the field strips away 25% of Kyurem-W's health upon switch in, so its a good way of preventing it from constantly switching in and out to dent stuff.

    Just some nitpicks

thanks for the calcs, also it doesn't learn tailwind so i thought maybe you meant roost.

    Roost in Hail Set
    [IMG]

    The Prisoner (Kyurem-W) @ Leftovers/Life Orb
    Trait: Turboblaze
    EVs: 160 HP / 132 SAtk / 216 Spd
    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
    - Roost
    - Dragon Pulse
    - Ice Beam
    - Fusion Flare/Toxic

it takes 42.46% - 50.12% from Modest Kyogre's surf in rain with a 0.07% chance to 2HKO. while it can kill it slowly with the Dragon Pulse recurrent damage and recover pretty well from Roost + Leftovers
and it takes 55.68% - 65.89% from Adamant Mega Scizor's Bullet Punch and then it revenge kills with its fusion flare, then with the leftovers recovery it stays by 29% - 39% HP
the speed is enough to outspeed Modest Kyogre.

Roost sets can run Life Orb to get some more damage ready.

I personally think SmashPass recipient should be stated in Other Options instead of a set, but if it's gonna stay, slash Lum after Herb since it allows it to deal with prankster t-waves

Oh it doesn't get Tailwind? Considering Zekrom and Reshiram got it, I thought Kyurem would get it as well :x

Overview: Might want to elaborate on Water-type resistance comment, comment on its High Special Attack Stat, add weakness to Stealth Rock, explain the effect of Turboblaze to its role in the metagame, and fix up some spelling.

Choice Scarf: Might want to add its capabilities as a revenge killer. Also, should fix the item in the set to say "Choice Scarf" instead of "Choice Specs."

SmashPass Recipient: I don't think this role by Kyurem-W should be a main set. It relies on one Pokemon to successfully complete the process. I think it would be good under "Other Options" instead. Would like to see other people's opinions on this!

Checks and Counters: Should add Ho-Oh as a main check to Kyurem-W, tanking a hit and the potential to KO back.

I think you should add Life Orb with Roost + 3 attacks as a main set, instead of the SmashPass Recipient one, but that's just my opinion, and again, other opinions are helpful.

Other than that, there are some various spelling errors here and there, but those aren't too big of a deal right now.

Yeh smash pass recipient definitely doesn't deserve it's own set
Add spdef kyogre to c&c as it isn't 2hkoed by specs kyu, although the most u can do back is postpone it with roar or burn with scald

Yeah get rid of smash pass recipient, definitely isn't worth more than a OO mention. Add a LO roost set, it's still insanely strong and less prediction/hazard prone. I haven't really used Kyu-W much at all, but I could see Toxic being a neat move on the Roost set, so slash it next to Fusion Flare. It allows you to beat Arceus types such as Waterceus who you'd normally lose to and it severely cripples Rockceus. Other than that it looks nice

As Zoro said, put Arc-Water as a counter. Toxic suggestion seems fine too.

Mention Genesect, as it can revenge kill all forms of kyurem with u-turn and Iron head

I'll approve QC after those changes are made as I can't see anything else wrong with it atm.

Slash Toxic alongside Fusion Flare on the LO Roost set and get rid of Focus Blast and you're good to go. QC Approved (2/3)

This looks good, I'll approve. That's 3/3, so you can start the write-up.

Edit: Mention how hazards can really hurt it in Checks / Counters
