Hello, and welcome to the Primary Expel of Types Tour (PET, or PETT if you want to include the “tour” part.), the second tour of our XY UU subforum and the first one to be hosted by myself. The point of this tournament is to limit the player’s choices in pokemon usage, based on their primary typing. The first round will start by limiting the primary types of the two most used pokemon in ranked stats. By the time the Round 1 thread gets posted, I will check the ranked stats and ban accordingly. Example: Spoiler Right now, the two most used pokemon are Gardevoir and Medicham, which means that, if the tournament matches were to be played from this instant on, i would be banning the Psychic and Fighting types from battles.[/HIDE] This means that any pokemon who has the chosen type as their primary or secondary type can’t be used for the entirety of the tour. In the next rounds I will calculate the number of the times each pokemon was used, and the most used pokemon's primary type will be banned for the following rounds. If a tie between two pokemon occurs, i will flip a coin. If a tie between more than two pokemon occurs, i will check the next pokemon in usage that matches the types in analysis, and whoever has highest usage will be banned. Although very limiting, it won’t reach such a point of limitation where trainers don’t have variety. If this tour reaches 32 participants, there would be a total of 5 rounds, including finals, meaning there would be a total of 5 types banned. 48 people would have the exact same effect, with a three-way final. A 64-man tour, although very unlikely, would just mean another type ban, so 6 out of 18. Clauses in effect: - Sleep Clause - Species Clause - Self-KO Clause - Freeze Clause - Wifi Clause The allowed pokemon are the same as they were at the beginning of this bimonthly tier change. The possibility of Gardevoirite being banned will not affect the integrity of this tour, as regular Gardevoir would still be allowed. It is mandatory that either the winner or the loser of a match post logs or team matchups in this thread, in the same post where they announce whether they won or lost. Signups will stay open until the 3rd of April, 11PM GMT. Any questions related to the tour can be asked to me, via server or forum, if an irregularity is found. Question 1: The only pokemon who change type upon mega evolving that are available for the tour are Ampharos and Aggron. If the Dragon-type ends up being banned, Ampharos will be allowed, as long as it isn't holding its Mega Stone. If the Rock-type ends up being banned, Mega Aggron cannot be used, as it can't enter the battle without evolving from regular Aggron, a Rock-type pokemon. Entrants: 1. Epikhairz 2. Arceus_17 3.
