Well did you read the times he said he'd be available? 08:00-09:00am est, 04:00-06:00pm est and 10:00-1159pm est

Why would he be on now when it's 11:53am est? There's absolutely nothing he can do if his opponent doesn't even reply

Edit: Why would we sub adam? He's been active all week and gave his opponent plenty of chances to set up a time to play
Look at the vm, mix doesn't even reply half the time and when he does it's something completely useless like "wanna play tomorrow at midday your time when you've already told me you'll be at work then?"
If you wanna sub someone then get them in contact with adam on his vm wall, this is how you schedule for tournament matches

galbia waited for you all day on irc and when you missed your scheduled time you didn't even bother pming him to advise him of that. He also waited all Saturday both on irc and smogtours since he already told you he couldn't play on Sunday in his VM on monday to get the game done and a little bit on Sunday morning before he had to go out.

 

nah alan was on during friday and sunday and i even vmd on alan's behalf late on sat to try and set something up, if they didn't catch each other then it was just bad luck

Afro Smash gave availability for two days both Friday and Sunday whilst trying to find and play his opponent, look at the vms on his wall. Now, I've played in alot of team tournaments in my time and as far as i know you cant take an activity win from before a friday r0fl (which is what i assumes going to happen), trust me i tried.

also if this goes down to a 'dead game' like what the italians are claiming then so be when it, also convenient that galbia isn't online on the whole of a sunday and friday when my player can finally play.

your move @Raducan dont see the harm in giving an extension till Tuesday for a tie breaker as alans going to smash the shit out of anyone who plays him hence why theres obviously no subs italy can sub in before the deadline hue.

 

Given the circumstances of the tournament (it being semi finals) I would imagine an extension is reasonable.

Take a look at the spreadsheet: NaCl is a valuable player. You just don't appear at 11 PM of Sunday asking for a sub when your player missed scheduled time twice. It's up to Raducan now: as a player, I always wanna see 100% of games done.
Nonetheless, you proved to have terrible management, leadership and everything a team needs. In a team tournament, that counts too.

 

i'd listen to anything you just written but whats the main point is that you did not ask me for a sub at any point during this week. You've got about 3 subs i can see online who are on your roster on smogon and po and you say you cant do anything about this, get real lmfao

Alright so here's the deal:

UK and Italy will be given an extension until Wednesday, May 13th, at 11:59 PM GMT -4.

Normally, extensions are not considered in tournaments like these but in this case I (and the two TDs I talked to) felt it was the best decision. From what I can see, Afro Smash and Galbia both attempted to play their match but didn't end up playing because there was no specific time scheduled and they showed up at different points in the day. In a semifinals environment, I am very keen to having all the matches played-especially in a series that hasn't already been decided. In the event that the series ends up in a tie (6-6), there will be a tiebreaker played in which a best of 3 will be played. This best of 3 will include ORAS OU, [POWC tier picked by higher seed], [POWC tier picked by lower seed]. Don't expect a precedence to be set here as this decision is very situational.

Sorry APC but you're just gonna have standby for the finals.
