Finally, a Smash Bros thread! Well, everyone says Palu sucks but I've actually gotten pretty good as her. That Up Smash works wonders and she's (I think) the only character that carries both a reflect and a counter. Also really loving Rosalina and Zelda so far, trying to pick up Roy and Yoshi. And ofc loving Pit, but hey, bias. Could've done without Lucina and Dr. Mario, but in all loving SSB4 so far. Also, Ryu... my god he's a monster.
Melee sux because Kirby is pretty much unplayable. And people still accused Sakurai of bias towards his own franchises. Also, what's even a SSB64 netplay group?
since quitting PO I've gotten into melee a little bit which has been very fun for me as i can actually chill and play with friends instead of having to pretend that i don't know this site which is what I've done in the past. my best characters are sheik and marth, though i also play fox for fun even though my fox sucks dick. for some reason, i cannot for the life of me figure out how to play captain falcon also roy and ryu look pretty sick in ssb4
Man, I'd love to be good at smash, but the fact is I'm bloody terrible, to the point where I do so badly that I can't stand playing it =[ That said, I might play for a bit, see if I'm less terrible all of a sudden (I won't be)
if anyones down to lose hit me up hue mainly play luigi/wario/doc but i feel pretty scumbaggy maining luigi cuz hes so aids..down throw torn true combos til like 150 ish and it kills. i mained him from the start before it became apparant (pretty recently actually) that hes insanely good, no nerfs either in the new patch. i think hes like top 2 honestly, hed be #1 if sheik didnt shit on him. plus his biggest weakness is the brutally bad recovery but i think he beats diddy/rosalina so id put him in top 5 no question and top players like zero seem to agree. out of the new 3 ryus easily my fav cuz im mainly a usf4 player but got started in smash like forever ago so i still play it obv. i love havin cancels and inputs in a smash game, doin shit like light down tilt x3 to dp (dp=dragonpunch=shoryuken=actual input, not just up b) which true combos is pretty satisfying. i actually didnt mind brawl too much mainly cuz i only played with my brother who never used annoying scummy shit like meta knight or (pseudo) wobbling with ic, but as far as for tourneys, meta knight spam made it extremely stale with fuckin tornado aids..i think in top 8 of apex one year there were 5 or 6 meta knights which is lovely, also tripping was retarded. also i play project m which i prefer over smash 4 just cuz punishing retards tryin to mash roll or spot dodge is easier, you only get one airdodge, you can still edgehog, and i really love higher execution requirements. wavedashing, l-cancelling, dacus, shine, shdl all that sexy shit and the higher hitstun means a lot more true combos etc..but the game is kinda dyin sadly :[ ps fuck vgbootcamp, the whores not only stopped uploading pm but removed all their old pm vids including classics like neon vs m2k..disgusting oh and i only have wii u and wii so cant 3ds
