Hello everyone! Anyone who pays much attention to the tournaments forum will know that I've been spamming the crap out of it, hoping to acquire some cool replays. However I decided to expand my search outward, and this is where you come in. I'm asking for anyone who saves logs to please share any good replays they have, so that we can make them into amazing youtube videos. If you save your logs, then you'll probably be saving poreplays as well and that is what I am after. To share a poreplay simply upload it to some cloud storage or file hosting service or some such (Dropbox, Google Drive, and Mediafire are examples of cloud services, I haven't got too much experience with other file hosting sites). Once it's uploaded, grab a link and send it to me! What kinds of battles are we after? Well there are a few things we're looking for: Close- No-one wants to watch a one sided 6-0 sweep. It's boring. On the other hand, nail-biters that come down to the final turn make for excellent watching. This is by far the most important thing we're looking for. Right length- 10 turns battles generally aren't interesting, and nor are 100 turn stallfests exciting either. Ideally we're looking for battles somewhere in the order of 20-40 turns, but this isn't a strict requirement, so if you've got longer/shorter battles that are still good, I'm more than happy to check them out. Unique- Again, this isn't a strict requirement, but it is desirable. Everyone gets sick of the ladder eventually if they're seeing the same old generic team over and over again. So battles that showcase unique or underrated sets are strongly encouraged. Popular metagame- We'd really love to see some current gen battles, particularly for OU. Again, not a strict requirement, just something that'd be cool to see Not too much hax- A couple turns of hax can make for an interesting twist. Sequences where a player is fully paralysed for 4 consecutive turns do not. TL;DR: They only strict requirement is that the battles are close and entertaining. If they fit the bill send them to me, and other criteria is just icing on the cake. A few other things: Firstly, the channel isn't yet up and running unfortunately, and for the time being is no good to share. Rest assured though, that when it bursts into life (hopefully soon) I'll come sprinting to you all to let you know. Secondly, I'd love to hear about what kinds of things you'd like to see from the channel. Battles are obvious, and we're also recording some tutorial videos to help newer users out. However there are many more options for us to consider and I'd like to hear what you'd want to see. So please share your replays, and stay tuned because big things are happening!
