Spoiler: Celestial Phantom's questions Nor can I blame you lol That was when I was the only one who looked in Tohjo for most of the time I was online. 16+ hours at a time of the pure moderating machine... I had no life lol. Probably won't mass ban everyone, no. Might mass unban everyone for shits and giggles though. I could have sworn I had done, but apparently not. I have done now. I already answered Shinx earlier on, because IT IS THAT DAMN ADORABLE. Alternatively, I'd like a Joltik. It'd help get rid of annoying insects, cos it's a spider, and IT IS ALSO ADORABLE. I'm a softy at heart lol Favourite speedrun to watch currently: either Digimon World (obv) or Majora's Mask Current favourite runner to watch: TheMexicanRunner, admittedly whilst he's doing NESMania instead of runs. Otherwise, Ennopp112. Favourite to listen to that isn't SpikeVegeta: shoutout to Go1den. In non-speedrun terms, Crumps2. Been watching him play MLB The Show 2016 a lot. When we get godlike combo?: Likely never. Back when I first started PO, yes. I was the best battler in the clan. That should tell you why I stopped being a clanfag. shoutout to CP for the plug. Tbh I've not been streaming much on http://twitch.tv/scotttm17 because I've been busy doing other things, but if more people wanted me to stream things on http://twitch.tv/scotttm17 then I can do so. (totally a shameless plug, thanks for the lead-in) SHIT, THEY'RE ONTO ME I didn't hate it when the expansions were overall beneficial to the games. Using the 2 examples you used: Pokémon benefitted from breeding in Gen 2, abilities in Gen 3, and the split in Gen 4. YGO benefitted from adding more cards to expand the playstyles that were viable, as well as the banlist changes as the metagame changes. I even think Synchro summons were pretty good, and XYZ summons were fairly simple to learn as well, and at least one of those was able to keep the game feeling fresh and interesting. However, it's when they try to go too far to keep milking the cash cow that it starts to get frustrating. Using the 2 examples you used: With Pokémon, a lot of people agree that Gen 5 wasn't that great in-game, and a lot of people think that the power creep has made Gen 6 less fun at the top levels of play (primarily Ubers and OU). I started losing interest in Gen 5, and Gen 6 has left me wanting to just play UU and nothing else lol. They had to do something to keep it fresh, but I think they went too far... and now we're getting Gen 7. Oh boy. YGO... the fuck is this Pendulum bollocks? I get the premise behind XYZ monsters, but they can be so easy to summon via Special Summoning their requirements. They add something new, make it too good, have to ban it, then repeat. It's dumb as fuck. The banlists can get the current best things, but it sometimes lets other things back in that shouldn't be let back in... Thousand-Eyes Restrict is back to Limited? Throw in Advanced Ritual Art being Unlimited now, and you can get a turn 1 Relinquished for use for Thousand-Eyes Restrict. Dumb move. There's too many cards for the game to be able to be fully balanced, and whilst that might be part of the fun, even adding in your side deck, you can't always prepare for one specific thing you don't usually see, and that can fuck you over. Same thing with Gen 6 Pokémon: There's too many top-level Pokémon, meaning that you can prepare for the best things in the metagame, but then someone uses that one Pokémon you couldn't prepare for, or forgot to prepare for, and you get annihilated, and you can't cover the weakness without damaging your matchup against other common mons. It just annoys me. There's a reason I don't really play both anymore. Aye, captain. It's funny cos I don't really like the attention, but for some reason people are interested. If it keeps people happy, then w/e I guess. Thanks for the questions CP.
