Welcome to the official Prediction Tournament for the Inaugural SM OU Pokémon Online Tournament! If you think you can predict the outcome of the matches of the POT, sign up to do so in this very topic. The winner of this tournament will be getting $5 USD, so if you're not very good at battling but still want a chance to earn a bit of cash from Pokémon, this is the opportunity for you! Here are the rules and regulations: Only people who sign up in the signups thread will be eligible for the $5 prize, and only these users will feature on the leaderboard. The Tournament Directors, Global Moderators, Administrators and Predictions Tournament host are ineligible for the prize. If a member of the aforementioned usergroups wins the Predictions Tournament, the $5 prize will be awarded to the highest-placing user that is not a member of one of the aforementioned usergroups. In order to provide your predictions, you must bold the usernames of the users you believe will win in that round. No other method of submitting predictions will be accepted. Predictions made in any other method will be ignored. This predictions tour will start with Round 2 of the POT, to avoid having to change and update predictions with every substitute that may be added in Round 1. Once at least 48 hours have passed since the round's prediction topic has been opened, the topic will be locked. No additional predictions will be accepted after this time, and no changes can be made to any predictions after this time. 1 point will be awarded for every correct prediction in Round 2, 2 points will be awarded for every correct prediction in Round 3, 4 points will be awarded for every correct prediction in Round 4, 8 points will be awarded for every correct prediction in Round 5, and 16 points will be awarded for a correct prediction in the Final. If a prediction is not submitted, the user will be awarded 0 points for that round. If issues arise during the tournament, the Predictions Tournament host may convene with the Tournament Directors to resolve the situation in the best manner possible. However, the Predictions Tournament host's ruling is final in all cases. As the host of the primary tournament, @Xdevo will be responsible for the payout of any funds earned from winning this tournament. This will most likely be given in the form of an Amazon voucher. Please bold who you predict to be the winner, Predictions for Round 2 of the POT are due on February 20th.
