Banner by PXLC (again), thanks! Ubers Major League II Hello, and welcome to the second edition of Pokemon Online's Ubers Major League! Here in this thread we are going to post everything related to UML administrative matters/problems and so on. Here, the hosters (@gengar17 and myself) will post: Season Schedule Teams and their Rosters Administrative Decisions Trades, and Retentions Auction Logs First and foremost, those are the six teams: Tryhard Toxapex, captained by @Finchinator (retention rights from Savage Salamences) Glowing Diancies, captained by @Mysterious M FnG Mewtwos, captained by @snaga Lolcopter Lugias, captained by @La.Melle2402 Glorious Gengars, captained by @The Trap God (retention rights from Confoundedly cute Chanseys) Littleroot Lunalas, captained by @Krauersaut (retention rights from Genocide Genesects) As everyone is aware by know, first those six teams will battle in a Round Robin tournament and they will be awarded the following points: Win = 2 points; Tie = 1 point; Loss = 0 points. When all five weeks are finished, the team with most points will go straight to the finals, and the 2nd and 3rd teams in the standings will face each other in semifinals. The winner of semis and the 1st team will then compete in Ubers Major League's Finals! -- To sign up, you're required to personally post the following format in designated thread that will open the next Monday (15th May). Code (text): Nickname: Timezone: Tiers: Inactivity (optional): Ubers Major League will feature five tiers, and every team will have eight players in its titular team. The tiers/spots are as follow: 2 SM Ubers; 1 ORAS Ubers; 1 BW2 Ubers; 1 HGSS Ubers (Arceus banned); 1 ADV Ubers. We expect you only to choose a tier if you have experience playing it. If you think you might miss some week(s) of the tournament, please fill up "Inactivity" with details so the managers can be aware of the fact - this is really important! After signing up, we encourage you to get in contact with the team's captains via Discord, where they will handle tryouts for their team's spots. Discord activity is really important, and if you're absent from that platform they might not pick you fearing activity concerns! Remember that this is a team tour. Thus you're expected to get in contact with your team on a daily basis. And don't forget to enjoy the experience! :] -- After signups have been completed, there will be an auction hosted in Pokémon Online server (a channel will be announced alongside the date on this thread, so don't worry) where the captains will pick their players for the tournament. The six teams will have 100K to spend on, at very least, ten players for this tournament, with the minimum bid for a player remaining 3K. The managers can choose to play themselves but that will cost a set price of 15K, and assmans, if wanted, will need to be bought up in Auction (this doesn't change much, but any assman will be invited to the Administrative Discord Channel where live discussion about UML is held). -- The official schedule will be announced when Auction is held, but you may already know that it's going to take, at very least, seven weeks and maximum of 9. Retention / Trades information will also be posted here when a conclusion has been reached with all captains, but we may already tell that captains can only retain two players from last year's UML. Captains should have been provided with previous information in that regard -- This thread will be locked and any further news will be posted separately.
