    It's that time of the year again!
    Without further ado, welcome to POCL 2017 hosted by @Mr. Perry and @fsk!

    Make sure you read the Administrative Thread and the Universal Official Tournament Rules before you sign up. By signing up, you have agreed to these regulations and rules; If the rule failed to cover a certain incident, we reserve the right to use common sense and punish anyone who abuses the loopholes.

    First and foremost, those are the eight teams:
    Chelsea Chatots, captained by @HSOWA and @Annoying Orange
    Winchester Wobbuffets, captained by @CALLOUS and @PhilosopherKing
    Arsenal Arcanines, captained by @Genesis7 and @Shaka Brah
    Southampton Seakings, captained by @Lutra and @Mr.378
    Milan Bisharps, captained by @Draciel and @Z+V
    IFK Göteborg Gogoat, captained by @Dr. Fomantis Toboggan and @snaga
    Geneva Goodras, captained by @z0mOG and @drud
    Stuttgart Stoutlands, captained by @La.Melle2402 and @Hassin627

    This year Pokemon Online Champions League will feature nine tiers, and every team will have ten players in its titular team. The tiers/ spots are as follow:
    1 RBY OU;
    1 GSC OU;
    1 ADV OU;
    1 DPP OU;
    1 BW OU;
    1 ORAS OU;
    2 SM OU;
    1 SM Ubers;
    1 SM LC.

    A detailed Tier Listing can be found here, and a detailed guide on some of the common questions regarding tiers can be found here. Make sure you read them carefully. If there are any more questions, feel free to ask us.

    If you have another alt on another community forum or simulator (Smogon or PS! for example) list it in your application, if you fail to do so you will be removed from the tournament.

    The sign-up post shall be in the following format.

    @PhilosopherKing and myself are looking for committed, active tryhards with a positive attitude to join our team. We are looking for players in the same mindset as ourselves- take the event seriously, put the time in to prep, stay active and put forth a legitimate effort to try to win this thing. PK and I will both put significant time and effort into this event to put our team in the best possible position to succeed and we're looking for players who will do the same in return.

    Absolutely have a chat with either of us, as it's very important to us that we talk to players we're potentially interested in before the auction, as we're looking for a specific kind of player and not everyone fits the mold.

    Two deal-breakers-

    -If there is any possibility, pending an unforeseen emergency, that you will have to miss more than one week of this event

    or

    -If you have temper/ego/attitude problems and may have a negative effect on the team atmosphere, regardless of your skill level
