    Hello, i am planning on buying a nintendo ds to play soul silver only and im wondering would anyone know if i can still trade online with other players my friend said it was stopped years ago

    Nintendo stopped the Nintendo Wifi Connection service for the Nintendo DS back in May 2014. This means that you cannot trade with SoulSilver.

    The earliest game(s) that you can still trade online with is Pokemon X and Y.
