Welcome to the most anticipated event of the century: Pyramid Raids! Aye, it be time to plunder the caves of the triangles, taking whatever treasure lies within! May the best pirate win! Why are there pirates in the pyramid, ye ask? Good question! We don't know either! All that matters is getting a nice high score or two every week so that you can earn the most points over the course of six weeks. Rewards The total scores for each player for each round will be added up at the end of the event. The top 6 placers will receive prizes based on their ranking: #6) 3 Fortune Cookies, 1 Nugget #5) 5 Fortune Cookies, 1 Nugget, 1 Helix Fossil #4) 7 Fortune Cookies, 1 Big Nugget, 2 Helix Fossils #3) 10 Fortune Cookies, 2 Big Nuggets, 2 Helix Fossils, 15 Prize Packs #2) 25 Fortune Cookies, 2 Big Nuggets, 3 Helix Fossils, 50 Prize Packs #1) 50 Fortune Cookies, 2 Big Nuggets, 3 Helix Fossils, 100 Prize Packs, and a Special Event Pokémon Prizes will also be given each round to the team with the single highest run score for that week. Those prizes will be announced at the beginning of each week because they will change week to week. On top of that, you get some nice prizes for doing Pyramid runs, so you'll soon find yourself very rich by participating in this event :) Special Event Pokémon As part of this event, a new Pokémon that has never been made available before will be made available. This Pokémon cannot spawn in any theme, nor be baited. But wait, there's more - this Pokémon comes in a special Pokéball - a Cherish Ball - meaning it will come Cherished 10 (Ten) times over. What Pokémon is this? Why, it's the perfect Pokémon to have on an exploration escapade: the Spiky-Eared Pichu! If you can earn the highest total score across six weeks of this event, you will be the lucky winner of a unique Pokémon that greatly loves its trainer! Scoring To earn points, you must post screenshots of your final score in a single pyramid run in the associated thread. You can post up to two scores per week, however, both scores must be accomplished while in distinctly unique teams. That means that you cannot have any teammates in common between the two runs. If A posts a run with B and C as their teammates for one score, they can post another run for more points during the same week, as long as neither B nor C is part of the second run. The scores will be combined towards your point total. During this event, the staff will set a sample of Bonus Pokémon every week. Be prepared to use these Bonus Pokémon to boost your score by up to 1.5x per week! That's pretty much it for the rules. If anything is unclear, please feel free to ask in the thread below! Otherwise, join the event by posting Ahoy! (or In! if you're a pleb). Signups will last a week.
