MONO2TATION BATTLE EVENTAn event based on monotype tier and rotation battles from safari, combining the elements from both of them. Players need to battle in a 16, double-elimination style tournament to win the prize.RULES This will be a 16 players tournament only. Any further participants will be rejected. If less than 16 join, then byes will be used. This Rotation Battle event is based on monotype battles. After the matchups are made, I will rng all the 18 types and the players will have to battle using monotype team of that specific type. For example, if A,B,C and D join the event and the matchups are A vs C and B vs D, I will rng the types and give them to the players, suppose A vs C get dark type, then they would have to battle using Mono-Dark teams. Species Clause will always apply. (i.e. No two same Pokemons in a team, but since safari follows somewhat different mechanics, species clause will apply to forms too, for example, Rotom-Mow and Rotom-Wash, etc are not allowed on same team) Mega Evolutions are allowed if they satisfy monotype rules. (Mega Charizard Y on a flying team is allowed while Mega Charizard X is not allowed). To put it in easy words, all pokemons must share a type (whether they may be mega or forms). A maximum of 1 mega per team is allowed. Legendary Pokemons are banned. Also the BST of Pokemon cannot exceed 600 unless its in Mega form. So Wishiwashi-School is banned while Mega Gyarados is allowed. 7 Days time for sign-ups and every further round, except finals which has no time limit. Matches will be Best of 3 only, except finals which will be Best of 5, where both the players can pick two types each and the last type will be selected via rng as usual. After a match is completed, one of the players should post the match result in this thread. It is advised to take a screenshot and keep it to yourself in case of disputes and provide when needed. To get activity win, the player must post in this thread before the deadline. "Can't schedule a match" doesn't fall under this category. If the battle doesn't happens, both players are DQed. If the person uses a wrong monotype team or a violation to a monotype team (example, using cloyster in a fire monotype team), he will be treated as the loser of the match, regardless of the outcome of the match. In this case, the other player, if using proper monotype team, can forfeit the match and would still be treated as the winner. He can also act like a gentlemen and allow the re-match to happen with proper teams. Its purely his choice. MOST IMPORTANT RULE- FREE MEGA STONES TO EVERY PLAYER WHO JOINS TO PLAY, EVERY ROUND! REWARDS 1st Place- Shiny, 300k and 8 Big Mushrooms. 2nd Place- 150k and 4 Big Mushrooms. 3rd Place- 75k and 2 Big Mushrooms. 10k per win is the consolation prize for everyone. Spoiler: Rewards Details The shiny will be selected by the "race event" method only. First, a list of all the different types that the winner played will be made (For example A played Fire, Bug and Rock monotype matches). One type out of them will be selected via race method. If a specific type wins (suppose A's rock type wins) then a race will again be started (substituting the race mons with the player's rock team) to select the winner and it will be shinified. So literally winner can slightly decide which shiny he wants by using appropriate teams in the previous rounds. Now players can use alternate forms in the event but its base will be counted when applying the race method to determine shiny. So if a player uses Rotom-Frost in one of his matches and it somehow wins the race, the player will get Shiny Rotom only. MATCHUPSSasuke vs Atli [Fairy]Azumarill vs Troller [Electric]Lancer vs M.
