[POWC] POWC 2021 - Player Signups [Preseason Team Deadline March 7th]

    Hello everyone! Pokemon Online World Cup (POWC) is scheduled to return this year. This is the thread for players to sign up in this tournament.


    Sign-up form:


    Tiers and Team Composition:

    - The Tier representation this year will be:
    SS OU / SS OU / SS OU / USUM OU / ORAS OU / BW OU / DPP OU / ADV OU / GSC OU / RBY OU (BO3)

    - Each team will have 10 starters, with anywhere between 2 and 5 subs. This means every team needs a minimum of 12 players, with the maximum being 15. If a team captain decides to play, it will count toward this player count, i.e 12-15 players per team regardless of any overlap between captains and players.

    - Teams that will participate in the Preseason include:
    Africa [captained by @Rubyblood and @Am1r]
    Argentina [captained by @ElectricityCat and @Ahmad Alfatih]
    Asia-Pacific [captained by @eden and @TraceofLife]
    Greece [captained by @CBU and @the pharoah]
    India [captained by @Jethalal and @Rajshoot]
    Venezuela [captained by @_tyranibaws_]

    - Other returning teams include:
    Brazil [captained by ?]
    Caribbean [captained by @Lord Thorx and @Bloody alfa]
    China [captained by ?]
    European Union: All European countries except those with their own team [captained by ?]
    France [captained by ?]
    Germany [captained by @CMx and @Nigel]
    Italy [captained by ?]
    Latin America: Mexico, Central America, and South America (with the exception of Brazil) [captained by ?]

    Eligibilities:

    - A PO forum account made after January 1st, 2017 will require a valid link to the corresponding Smogon account to be eligible.

    - The eligibility rule remains the same as in previous years: You play for the team you played for in the last year, unless you didn't play last year, or the team you played for last year no longer exists, or you are trying to play for a team that didn't exist last year.


    Deadlines:

    - For any teams that were not part of POWC 2020, and for Team India and Argentina, the deadline for player signups is March 7th 23:59 GMT. These teams should have their rosters and week 1 Lineups ready by that time as well.

    - For the other 12 teams, the deadline for player signups, rosters and week 1 lineups is March 21st 23:59 GMT. Week 1 will start on 22nd of March.
