Everytime I try to log on I get this message: "Connected to Server! Error while connected to server -- Received error n°1: The remote host closed the connection Disconnected from Server!" I read the other posts about this and tried changing to username to several different things including random letters and numbers and I also tried disabling my firewall and nothing works, I can go onto all the other servers without any problem but I have never been able to connect to the beta or pokemon online server. I would appreciate any assistance :)

I don't know I can't connect to the server either. I can connect to the other servers fine though. Maybe try allowing it through your firewall
I actually tried disabling my firewall but that did not help. My difference though is that I cannot connect to any of the servers. One person told me it could be my internet settings but I honestly have no idea what to think.
Ava, one of the biggest troll in the world has an IP very close to yours, that's why you can't log on the PO server. Sorry =/
Well... "The Biggest Troll in the world" must've gotten a regional ban, We'll have to see if you're not the "troll" first :)
Well... as long as your IP doesn't change, or the name you use when you log on (You could still change it after you login) then it might be possible to let you log in.
Do you mean change my trainer name? because I tried that and it still didn't work. Is there another name I could change?
No, she means that if you decide to stick to a specific trainer name, then we could make an exception in the ban of that person and let you login on the server. You having only one username allows us to bypass the ban only for one name and know it's you and not him, so it's a solution for you to be able to log in on that server. You just have to give us the username you want to use, we'll do what's necessary serverside, and you'll have to use that specific username when logging on even though you'll be able to change usernames after being logged on.
Oh right thanks. I've been using Ava on smogon server so I'd like to use the username if it's not taken
Hi everyone, I'm also new here, and a very similar thing has happened to me when I try to connect to the Pokemon Online server. I can't see anyone else, and the computer comes up with this: (23:15:41) Connected to Server! Error while connected to server -- Received error n°1: The remote host closed the connection (23:15:42) Disconnected from Server! Unlike Ava, I can see and log on to other servers such as PokeBattle server and Smogon University. I have also tried changing my name several times (including random letters) to no avail. Can anyone help????
Your problem is the exact same problem as Ava's :O Weird Gonna have to go through the same procedure for you as we did Ava Also Ava, you should be able to enter (Ava isn't taken)

Actually your problem is completely unrelated But I think I know the cause (22:47:25) +CountBot: There are 499 players online. Might have been full at the time you tried entering
Thanks Crystal Moogle. I don't think it was that, as I tried several times throughout the day. However, for some strange reason, it is letting me in now! I'm happy :-) Perhaps my router was playing up or something.

I'm having this problem too. I'm able to log on to the other servers with no difficulty, it's just the PO server which comes up with the following message: (19:32:39) Connected to Server! Error while connected to server -- Received error n°1: The remote host closed the connection (19:32:46) Disconnected from Server! Sometimes it allows me to enter the password for my username but then the same message appears again :/ Also, I can't think of any reason as to why I may have been banned as I was editing my team when the disconnection occurred. Help?!?!?! EDIT: Okay, never mind, I managed to get it working... everything's fine :-)

can't connect all of a sudden i get an error message when i try to connect to any of the servers. is it cuz sum1 with an ip adress close to mine got banned, if so could something be done so i am let in? i added PO to my firewall exceptions and used the advanced connection and get this message: (20:18:10) Connected to Server! This same message is popping up for me as well! I can't access any server. This is very frustrating :(
I just downloaded Pokemon Online like 20 minutes ago. I made my team and everything, but it won't even connect me to any server. Technically, none even show up. Do I need to adjust something on my computer or. . . .what? EDIT: No server names pop up and under Server Description it says "Disconnected from the registry: Connection refused"
I've been having the same problem. I can connect to other servers, but both the Pokemon Online and Smogon servers won't let me log on. I've tried changing my name, uninstalling and reinstalling. The server isn't full when I try to join (unless 15 people logged in the moment before I tried and logged back out when I left) and I'm sure I have no programs or firewalls blocking the connection. When i try to log on, it'll ask me for a password. I'll type in my password, but then I'll get the same message the others are getting. (20:28:54) Connected to Server! Error while connected to server -- Received error n°1: The remote host closed the connection (20:29:43) Disconnected from Server! I'm using the name 'Riu' right now and I plan to stick with that name, if this was relevant at all.
