Hey, what's up Pokemon-online! I present to you... my Gen IV team. I need help turning this into a kickass Gen V team. This team did pretty good back in Gen IV, but with DW stuff floatin around and people getting more competitive, I'm havin' a hard time making adjustments. Perhaps suggest movesets? New pokes? Whatever else? I'd like to have this team being versatile enough to play singles as well as doubles.

So here we go:

Main team:

Aaron (Arcanine) (M) @ Expert Belt
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 120 HP / 152 Atk / 236 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Flare Blitz
- ExtremeSpeed
- Close Combat
- Will-O-Wisp

Arcanine does his job: attack leads, burn physical foes. Should water types pop in to say hi, I switch out to Ferrothorn.

GhostBusta (Rotom-W) @ Shell Bell
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 112 HP / 252 SAtk / 144 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Hydro Pump
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Pain Split

Backs up Arcanine in that if there's an incoming earthquake, he'll switch in to cover. Also backs up Arcanine in taking out Scizor and Forrettress.

Theiss (Suicune) @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Roar
- Toxic
- Scald
- Ice Beam

Theiss (pronounced Tie-ss, by the way), is my mixed wall. Inspired to use him as a wall because: 1. Water types tend to have good neutral coverage, 2. Suicune's got beast defenses, 3. Gonna be able to roar out boosters.

Butt-Prick (Ferrothorn) (M) @ Rocky Helmet
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Thunder Wave
- Power Whip

Standard ferrothorn wall; cockblocks DracoMeteor users like Latios and stalls out most other pokemon.

Larry (Alakazam) (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 40 Def / 216 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Focus Blast
- Psychic
- Energy Ball

Main star of the show; special sweeper and has good coverage. Energy ball is for Unaware Quagsire from wrecking my team.

Helga (Conkeldurr) (F) @ Choice Band
Trait: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Superpower
- Mach Punch
- Payback
- Stone Edge

Backs up Alakazam in being a physical sweeper; takes in any bug or dark hits Alakazam wouldn't like.

[/HIDE]

Back up players:
Matty (Entei) @ Muscle Band
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 8 HP / 248 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Flare Blitz
- ExtremeSpeed
- Stone Edge
- Iron Head

Standard crown Entei. Meant to, well... sweep physically.

Edna (Conkeldurr) (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Guts
EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bulk Up
- Mach Punch
- Drain Punch
- Stone Edge

Standard Conkeldurr. Has a lot of potential.

MEANGREEN (Sceptile) (M) @ Grass Gem
Trait: Unburden
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- X-Scissor
- Rock Slide
- Leaf Blade

The idea with this guy is, switch him in on a pokemon that would be scared of grass types (be it Swampert or Quagsire), get them to switch while powering up with swords dance, and and slam the switch in with a powered up Leaf Blade. This brings Sceptile to a +690 speed and, well, is pretty much a living bullet.

Howard (Weezing) (M) @ Black Sludge
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Sludge Bomb
- Will-O-Wisp

Hella good physical wall. Takes toxic and toxic spikes like a boss, and messes up physical sweepers.

Han (Hydreigon) (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Taunt
- Dragon Pulse
- Flamethrower
- Dark Pulse

Takes attacks, and kills. Nothin' to it I guess.

Flygon (M) @ (Life Orb)
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Fire Punch
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw
- Stone Edge

Standard physical Flygon. [/HIDE]

So I've shown you the variety of Pokemon I've cooked up over the past couple of years. I switch 'em in and out according to what I think would be best. I'm pretty sure my main problem, though, is that this team not only lacks synergy, but it also would get dominated by advanced singles OU players who stealth rock like hell.
That said, I'd like help building something new or editing this team.

Problems with the team: gets rocked by Magic Guard Espeon, baton passers, and scarf killers.

Importable:
[secret]Aaron (Arcanine) (M) @ Expert Belt

- Flare Blitz
- ExtremeSpeed
- Close Combat
- Will-O-Wisp

Butt-Prick (Ferrothorn) (M) @ Rocky Helmet
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Thunder Wave
- Power Whip

Theiss (Suicune) @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Roar
- Toxic
- Scald
- Ice Beam

Drew should have Sheer Force and Jolly, IMO, though Adamant MIGHT work. Sheer Force is still mandatory.
Theiss prefers Rest. Means status isn't quite as terrible. Replacing Toxic could work.

Also, get an importable.
Teambuilder>Button under nicknames that says "Export">Copy-paste text and put it into
[/.HIDE] tags somewhere in your post.

Not sure what you meant with the HIDE tags, but uh... I did my best!
Anyways, thanks for the tips, so for Theiss - I should turn him into a Sleep Talk wall? What other changes could I make with this team? I'd like to make it more "synergized"

Still need the Importable thing. :P

In any case, if you want a wall, Milotic is also an option. I'm not particularly sure which is better, since I don't have a lot of experience with UU stall. Generally, though, Suicune is used more offensively with Calm Mind, and Milotic is more defensive with moves like Scald and Dragon Tail and either Recover or Rest to activate Marvel Scale and clear out status.
Also, just some stuff for the heck of it...
You don't NEED this, but it does make it prettier:
Code (text):
1.
Alakazam picture
Code (text):
1.
Arcanine picture
Code (text):
1.
Suicune
Code (text):
1.
Feraligatr
Code (text):
1.
Jolteon
Code (text):
1.
Primeape
Just copy-paste the text next to the area where you want the pics.
More sprites can be found in here, though you might be able to find another if you wish.

EDIT:
In case you're wondering, the importable must not have any extra text added on to it--just stick it in Hide tags just like it is.

As User Name has pointed out, you still require an importable. The importable can be found by pressing export text in the team builder. Please copy and paste that to me via PM.

Also, the importable should contain no other text (eg.comments) on the team.

Edit: Done
